Mary Ann’s is a clean, well-stocked, and well-managed store. They carry not only some of the staples like flat breads, milk, and yogurt, but also a variety of harder-to-find (and larger size) Mideast treats and delicacies like Easter cakes, red tart cherries (in a jar, not can), rose hydrosol, and Tahini. That’s just to name a few. They also have a small selection of kitchen equipment. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable and have always treated me well.
I recently had a disappointing experience at this location due to the consistently poor customer service provided by the front staff member, Rosana. She does not greet customers upon arrival and her demeanor comes across as dismissive and unwelcoming. As a paying customer, I believe basic courtesy—such as a simple greeting and respectful interaction—is a reasonable expectation.
