I am a family doctor with more than 30 years of experience. My initial training and practice were in the U.S. Army, where I served for 13 years. Upon leaving the service, I returned to Tidewater, where most of my family lives, to provide family medicine in various settings. I recently returned to private practice in a new setting, commuting to Portsmouth from Newport News! I am settling into my new office and finding my way around the Southside. I am lucky to have excellent colleagues and staff.

Dr Yuengert spends plenty of time explaining issues, offering suggestions and giving advise. I was comfortable with her interactions with me. She helps me feel relaxed and I have trust in her advice.
I wouldn't recommend this doctor.
Dr. Yuengert is always and will be my doctor. Her expertise is exceptional and always given me the best care! Myself I'm a 56 year old white male, and being an Industrial Electrican I need care. 5 Stars for Dr. Yeungert.
She thoroughly explains things and has excellent bedside manner. She is very knowledgeable and I even moved to Norfolk but still keep her as our family doctor because we all like her so much!
