1 star. I absolutely do not recommend MARXAC_EXTREME_CUSTOMZ. Save your money and take your vehicle somewhere else. Back in January, I went to Rodney for a radio upgrade, interior LED lights, and window tint after he showed me a vehicle he had done that looked very good. What I received looked nothing like what was promised. My radio gave problems from day one, and they were still trying to figure it out when I arrived to pick up my vehicle after having it for 12 hours. 1 star. Do not trust them with your car’s electrical system. This is not a customer-first business. I went to MarXac wanting them to install an Apple CarPlay unit I had already purchased. After several attempts asking him to install the one I brought, the technician refused and talked me into buying and installing their own product instead. I agreed because I still wanted CarPlay. My experience with this shop was not good. I brought in a vehicle on 3/4/26 to have old tint removed and replaced, along with an Android Auto module and backup camera install. The job wasn’t completed until 4/1/26 almost 3 weeks, which I was told was due to parts/vendor issues. When I picked the vehicle up, the work still wasn’t fully completed as the backup camera barely works. Most of the tint was replaced, but one section was left with the original tint still on it. Rodney and his team are phenomenal. I came in for a consultation and Rodney set expectations about my options - find a replacement or have my console modified and I appreciate him being upfront because there was a massive price difference and he made sure I understood. Installation was smooth and affordable. To set expectations, this is a small (but growing business) so be gracious and have some flexibility. Rodney does a great job on educating people about what he's talking about (saw this with other customers as well).
Marxac is OUTSTANDING!!! Rodney and his crew are personable, professional, and affordable! They do quality work on time and keep you informed.
