I wanted a dozen bagels and cream cheese. The online ordering was not working so I used the kisok in the store. The order came without the second half pint of cream cheese and I pointed that out. I wanted to add another half pint. The clerk was rude, made no effort to assist me, and said I had to go through the line at the register again (6 people deep) then turned her back and walked away while I was talking to her. Excellent bagels! Impressive fly problem! This is a solvable problem. Significant numbers of houseflies (not breeding in the store) in the dining area. It can only be worse in the production area. This was May 4th. As the weather warms, the potential for more flies increases. I saw a second smaller species of flies as well, but I'd need to catch one to determine if it is breeding inside. Never have I seen a more chaotic and disorganized place -- and that was with an empty restaurant. I can't imagine how they would handle a rush. Plenty of food and lots of staff, but no one to wait on people. They had the slowest person at the register, and no one helped take any orders to get people moving. All deli orders used the same register and line. A real embarrassment of a NY kosher deli service and efficiency. Good was good, but not exceptional.
