I paid $150 for a consultation appointment and ultimately received no legal services. When I had to cancel because of a scheduling issue, the office refused to refund any portion of the fee and pointed to a 24-hour cancellation policy. The problem is that my appointment was scheduled only about 26 hours after booking, which effectively gave me less than 2 hours to cancel and remain eligible under that policy.
