I recently had a claim with State Farm where my 15 year old was driving my car, I was in the front seat. And we were rear ended. Now State Farm wants to drop me. I can get over that part, (even tho I was covered) however I can’t get past how I was talked to today. I would not recommend State Farm as an insurance provider. Their customer service, based on first hand experience, is lacking. They force you to use lower end body shops so they can control pricing instead of approving repairs from the dealer/brand approved repair locations and force you into out of pocket expenses to receive the full repairs. Additionally, they drag their feet on estimates and supplemental reviews which is incredibly irritating. For a company who's mission statement includes “to help people recover from the... read more
