Construction is an imperfect industry, so it's not entirely unexpected that things aren't quite perfect when they're installed. The issue is how suppliers and trades manage the imperfections, and make it right. Much of that depends on the service team that is assigned to remedy that which needs to be done. I have to say that Marvin's outstanding team of Martin and Tomm arrived exactly on time, carried out the work perfectly, were tidy, and did an outstanding job.
The install of our windows was a nightmare but I won’t rehash the disaster it was. Ultimately we did get very nice windows with only the odd scuff or ding in the wood. However, one window will not stay open and emails/voicemails to the warranty department have yet to be returned. I am hoping this review might get them to reply to me.
We are so disappointed in our Marvin Windows. We absolutely loved the dealership in Kingston we dealt with, but the product quality has been a huge letdown . Marvin is supposed to exemplify quality and craftsmanship, and they have fallen terribly short of this in our opinion . This will be the third time we have had to have a warranty claim for faulty operating of our casement Windows. Mechanisms not installed correctly from the factory. Dear Al, Marvin Windows and Doors are the best, I have know problem recommending them to my Clients and everyone. I want to thank you for giving me such great service. You went above and beyond. I appreciate your perseverance in helping me to solve ,my door lock so that I didn't encounter any more expense. Your technician Matt was excellent.
