Just been to see Dr MD Moshiur Raham for the first time this morning and what a lovely appointment with him.So friendly,chatty and put me right at ease straight away.Woukd definitely request him next time ,he is an asset to the practice.I even had a laugh with him.
I have been visiting this general practice for several years; however, it was not until approximately three years ago that I required medical attention. Dr. Ajibola Awolowo has provided exemplary care, dedicating time to listen to my concerns and offering invaluable support in maintaining my employment. Put a request in AMGP at 11, got a phonecall and tablets sent to pharmacy by 1230. Definitely the best GP practise in Wigan. Always quick, efficient and friendly. Never struggle getting an appointment even for minor things and never waiting weeks for appointments. 10 stars
In an environment where negativity towards the NHS and its services has become the norm I'd like to add some additional perspective . I've been attending this practice for close to 20 years and in all that time I have received a first class service from all the Doctors, nurses , other associated professions (e.g. pharmacology) and reception staff that I have encountered - maybe I'm easily pleased or just been lucky but I'd like to think that it is cultural where the patient is at the heart of the practice.
