Went for the sushi. Was not disappointed. Large pieces of fish and everything tasted fresh. In an area where most restaurants overprice their offerings, Maru does not! Quick service. No complaints.
As Koreans, we’ve always been searching for authentic Korean food in the Fairfax area. Before finding this gem, we usually drove to Centreville or Annandale because we couldn’t find anything that truly tasted like home. The food here is incredibly authentic, and for us, the side dishes are always the first sign of a great Korean restaurant. We ordered dolsot bibimbap, a lunch box, cod soup, daegu gonitang (cod and cod roe soup), and kimchi jeon. Excellent value for the price. I got the eel bento box. The presentation was beautiful and it tasted just as good
this place is just so so good. i've come back at least 5 times and its my favorite restaurant in VA.
