My last rescue was a 7-week-old Pyrenees who came to me with diarrhea and urinary distress. I cleared the diarrhea in about a week but little Maggie was obviously still struggling with urinary irritation and would squat every few seconds, trying to relieve herself. 12 to 24 hours after switching her to Marty's Meals puppy formula, she was completely clear!
