Horrible misdirection from the interstate. I was expecting someplace where the family can take a break from the drive instead we got to some kind of museum that was closed and took us 15 minutes off route. Idiotic, completely idiotic.
Nice visitors center. Couldn't get through because of COVID-19, but the man working was happy to help. I collect brochures and I think I got what I needed. Martinsville-Henry County brochure is free for out-of-town people like me.
I had a great visit with Beth Stinnett she told me a lot about the local history and historical places to visit and the gift shop is beautiful a must stop for anyone visiting Martinsville Virginia MissCSA
