Fabulous place for a get-away. Martin’s Point is beautiful and a perfect place to relax - even with a large group! I’d go back anytime!
We visited in late September. Coming from RI, this was the perfect location to extend the summer season. There are plenty of water views no matter where you are. We enjoyed sitting in the adirondack chairs looking out at the sandbar and watching the blue herons over our morning coffee. There’s lots of outdoor activities but when the rain chased you indoors the house and guest cottages are wonderfully furnished so you feel right at home. It’s a beautiful, relaxing, and private vacation spot.
A great spot in this world. Water on 3 sides, nice dock with plenty of water for the boat and surrounded by farm land. An old house with some history with nice cabins to support a large family gathering. Everything Chesapeake style; a bit weathered, but still works, and surrounded by nature's beauty.
We adored this beautiful private getaway, peaceful and surrounded by water on three sides. We loved the views, which we enjoyed from the pool, from kayaks and other watercraft, from the hammock and from the comfy upstairs screened porch. This historic family home is furnished with antiques and a downstairs screened porch for candlelit dinners. One of my favorite places on earth. I stayed here twice. The place could not be more beautiful. It is a charming old house filled with character, water on three sides and gorgeous old trees. It is like stepping back in time. So peaceful. The owners and caretaker were both great. Highly recommended.
