I sent my son to see Dr. Martini over the course of several years, but Dr. Martini was not professional in terms of dealing with my son’s ADHD and depression, in that Dr. Martini was late to visits and canceled appointments at the last minute. Additionally, Dr. Martini’s office overcharged me twice, and Dr. Martini was not experienced in breadth of knowledge in treating my son.

I write this as a former patient from before the pandemic. I'm not gonna lie, Dr. Martini could be sweet from time to time. She has her heart in the right place. But more often than not, she was difficult to deal with as a patient because of how moody she was. She made her appointments more about herself, than about you. She was obsessed with prescribing new medications and hated when you pushed back on her upselling. Spent more time inserting her personal opinion than staying objective. No empathy. Rude attitude. Stuck. Not sure why she became a dr of she has zero bed side manner. Woukd avoid at all costs.

I just called her office. My insurance website suggested her as being under our plan and the website states she is taking new patients. But as of July 24,2020 at 2:54 the office lady who answered said she is NOT taking new patients at this moment.

rude staff martini is very condescending, non-compassionate, cold, intimidating, and our sessions were basically 'what's new, refill, goodbye' not what we were looking for. difficulty with scheduling, Dorothy can be rude (short, cut off, always felt like she was very busy) thank goodness we are no longer going here. people, find someone who truly cares about your needs, not theirs.

I am a mental health provider and I see Dr. Martini as my psychiatrist. I like her so much that I have referred my own patients to her. She is the type of psychiatrist who doesn't just throw pills at you but tries to understand things more systematically—not just psychopharmacologically; that is, she asks about non-medicine aspects of my life during our follow-up sessions. The office staff is very professional, accommodating, and friendly, especially Ed who I have enjoyed talking to.
