I was a little skeptical after reading a few negative reviews, but we tried it anyway. The food and service was great. We had the ice cream French toast and shrimp and grits. The server was attentive and friendly. The drinks were well made. We were given plenty of time to eat as well. My wife and I have a tradition of playing Scrabble while eating breakfast and we never felt pressured to hurry. We will return.
We were told there was a new cook, but we (2 people) were there for an hour and a half and 92% of it was waiting for our ONE entree and a side of bacon. Mimosa and another cocktail were good and so was that toast. They comped us the beverages, which I very much appreciate. Man, I hope the cook gets some help or more efficient or this place won't survive it.
Super cool menu, phenomenal food! I'd definitely take a trip just to come here again. The smashed potatoes, the fish and the chicken sandwiches were unreal! Not to mention the homemade ketchup and shooters too.
