You would probably get more "hits" on your live news website if you spelled MARTINEZ correctly.
The Gazette, over the past 150 years, has had its ups and downs in terms of editorial content. Currently they have a terrific and dedicated journalist on staff, and Ive seen the quality skyrocket over the past few months. I look forward to reading it now.
this paper is a joke!they cant get their subscriptions right,they dont check thier facts before they publish thier articles/letters .they need to quit giving convicted a drug dealer/pimp so much press.

the gazette is the only indepdant paper in contra costa county,protect the intrest of martinez residents.the coverge are fair and balance.Martinez should be proud and lucky to have a local paper,and should support it,Gazette is celebrating 150 years in buisness this year.
The Martinez News Gazette does a terrible job of running a business! Last time I subscribed to the paper, my neighbor always got our paper, and I couldnt get it straightened out. In September I sent a check to subscribe to the paper again. I paid a year in advance. Now it is November, and I have not received one single copy! When my daughter was a paper carrier for the paper, she kept on receiving less and less pay every month, not related to the number of subscribers she delivered to.
A really good local paper- covers all the happenings of Martinez. A must-read for residents of Martinez.
