I am very picky about the type of treatment I receive from therapists, which is why I am staunch advocate of reviewing mental health providers honestly and in a detailed manner. Things started out well when I went to Dr. Martin for therapy back in the summer of 2019. I was fond of her and appreciated her therapy for about the first 6 weeks. Terrible provider. I told her a traumatic family experience and she laughed and then apologized but kept laughing. She also yelled at me because I didn't get medication from her friend Dr. Llanes. This doctor has awful reviews. Her front desk guy is super unprofessional. They discriminate based on religion. If you are not Christian, they very obviously judge you for it. Avoid at all costs. Unprofessional provider and even more unprofessional and gossipy front desk person.

Terrible provider. I told her a traumatic family experience and she laughed and then apologized but kept laughing. I was surprised because she was very good in the first few sessions and then things suddenly change and then she doesn't take you, the sessions or your problems seriously. She'll eat snacks, laugh inappropriately and then go on her phone. I have been seeing Dr. Martin for quite some time now and i appreciate the work she has put into me and the many breakthroughs I’ve had with her. She is a positive Christian based therapist who doesn’t let you sulk in your feelings but instead guides you to see the great things about you and your potential. She is sensitive to your feelings and concerns about life and provides positive advice to combat those issues. She is patient friendly and wants to see you get better.
