Dr. Martin is an excellent doctor. He is empathetic and takes time with his patients to ensure he understands my concerns and I understand the next steps.

He is great! He cares, explains well, and asks about my other problems. He even asks about whether I am taking any trips and checks with other doctors. I go to the Mayo Clinic, but not for a G.I. because he is so dependable and no one at Mayo’s have ever suggested I do otherwise.
He is great. He or only treats the illness I am there for, he also asks about my other medical problems and asks that the other doctors send him their treatments. He explains well and is very empathetic.
Dr Martin has done a very good job with my family. My colonoscopy my husband's, and my son's esophagus. Would highly recommend him.
Dr. Martin is kind, empathic, honest, realistic, thorough and conservative in his approach. His approach got me from the point of feeling sick 90% of the time to less than 10% of the time (what I have is not curable but now manageable.) I am so appreciative. There is a reason he is so busy...he is very, very good.
I (05/20/2016) had an Endoscopy and Colonoscopy at Iowa Digestive Diseases center with Dr Martin. His staff was very good especially the on call Nurse January in explaining what is to be expected etc. Dr Martin was also very informative about the procedure and did a fantastic job. Everything went well and the staff and doctors were very professional.
