I would not recommend seeing Doctor Martin. I came into the office with a specific request to replace a custom flat plane/bite splint to treat TMJ. After being assured by Doctor Martin his office could provide a replacement, I was given a $250 Essix retainer that is not designed to treat TMJ. I immediately questioned it, and was told by Doctor Martin that this new retainer is the new treatment for TMJ. After experiencing extreme TMJ pain after a few weeks of using the Essix retainer, I came back into an office for a refund. ... read more
