Founded in 1950 by Frank Martin and his nephew Sam Martin, Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home is now the oldest established funeral home in the city of Oak Ridge. The Martin name was already well established and respected in the funeral industry having founded their first Martin Funeral Home in Lake City, Tennessee in 1926 and then the Martin Funeral Home in Clinton, Tennessee in 1946.
