It's a very fast paced place. A c.b. radio is a must or you're going to struggle. I have seen people get loaded without a c.b. radio, so it is possible to get loaded without a c.b.. The scalehouse guy is very helpful. Just have patience with him as he is very busy doing his job. You will need to know who you are loading for and have all the information for that. No longer an independent company, now owned by Martin Marietta who essentially has a monopoly on rock products here. They instantly raised prices by a ridiculous amount, making construction more expensive for everyone in Colorado. Very unfortunate for everyone that AFS sold the quarry to MM.
Love getting to see the Quarry on my way up to the mountains! Don’t mind the hippy reviews!
