The final invoice was higher than the quoted price. I was told the day before that delivery of 50 tons of crushed concrete would arrive around 7:00 AM, so I scheduled equipment and an operator to be onsite and ready at that time. At 6:30 AM, I called and told the delivery would be around 7:00 AM. By 9:00 AM, I was informed that Martin Marietta was still waiting for a truck to arrive to be loaded.
