The final invoice was higher than the quoted price. I was told the day before that delivery of 50 tons of crushed concrete would arrive around 7:00 AM, so I scheduled equipment and an operator to be onsite and ready at that time. At 6:30 AM, I called and told the delivery would be around 7:00 AM. By 9:00 AM, I was informed that Martin Marietta was still waiting for a truck to arrive to be loaded. Not for the public. I have a small construction company. I called about crushed concrete. I have a 24yard trailer I use for getting in areas of when I need a small amount. I did my bid on project based on the price I was quoted. Go t to get it and they won't load and trailers only dump trucks. Now I'm having to transport from a farther distant and pay more for it. Imo they need to tell people upfront
