I didn’t appreciate him at the time- as a teen and in my early 20’s I had severe anorexia nervosa a s had to be in the hospital (LIJ and Westchester) for almost a year. He helped save my life. I’m now 45 and have a 20 year old daughter and I have a healthy relationship with food and exercise. I’m a normal weight and I teach my daughter to value kindness and excellence rather than looks. Thank you Dr Fisher.

Dr. Fisher is the best in his field, caring, companionate, excellent doctor!!! Would highly recommend.

In my 18 years of life I've never had a doctor as rude, unkind, and as inconsiderate as Dr. Fisher. I went to Doctor Fisher to best understand how I could healthily pursue a vegan diet. Rather than giving me earnest and good medical advice as to how I could pursue a healthy vegan diet he said that there was no way to do so (which is medically disproven). After I showed him the evidence that veganism is a healthy way to live he dismissed me and said that I had an eating disorder for wanting to 'cut out so many food options'. ... read more
