Terribly difficult to get a hold of anyone during business hours. They either drop your call or send you immediately to voicemail. If, on the rare occasion, you actually DO reach their menu system, no matter which number you press, it's (YOU GUESSED IT) straight on to voicemail! It seems Dr. Backman & staff prefer to conduct all important medical discussions via poorly-timed callbacks. Do not recommend.

WOW! Dr Backman is the GOLD STANDARD 🪙 I brought in my relative who was in need of his services. She was not doing well. Dr Backman examined her, ran tests and prescribed medication. She is on her way to recovery ❤️ I know he will help you if given the chance His staff provides extraordinary customer service 👏 Thank you Gabby, Jackie & Patricia. They care deeply about their patients. They make a difference! Extra special thanks to Patricia. Patricia can do everything! .

sadly this practice is not being run properly. Had an apt in April and said i would get a referral and come back. i have called several times since April (now June) and just got a referral call, after over a month waiting but it was wrong. not a problem to fix right? WRONG you can never get ahold of someone and when you do they put you on hold for 10+ minutes or never answer. longest wait time 32 min. never picked up. The Dr seems blind to this and from what i see from the responses of others comments don't care.

My first visit with Dr. Martin J. Backman was surprisingly negative. I went their for disability review. When the nurse escorted me into the examination room, I sat in a chair with a backrest because I was experiencing significant back pain. The moment Dr. Backman entered the room, rather than introducing himself or greeting me, he immediately appeared irritated and said, "Get over here," while gesturing toward the examination table.
