I had stepped on a catfish barb and it lodged in my foot. The local walk in clinics were closed so I went to the emergency room for treatment. I walked into the empty waiting room and explained my issue and that I did not have insurance. After 15 mins of information gatheringand waiting 40 mins, I was off to the examining room. The Dr. came in and easily removed the barb and left the room never to be seen again.
