Martin Hardware is not just the bomb, it is the whole darn Arsenal, too. If I could give 6 or more stars, I would. You just cannot get this superior customer service anywhere in the world (well, maybe in Japan) but there is no place like a small town hardware store like Martin. Justin G. (on the floor) and Rosemary (behind the cashier) helped me find a super small hex not and screws and did it with amazing speed and kindness. I am so lucky to live in this town (Charlottesville).
Wonderful old time hardware store, almost everything you need, great and knowledgeable people.
Great customer service. Very professional. Prices reasonable. If they don't have what you are looking for, they communicate with one another and often lead you in the right direction to find what you're seeking.
Rode und disrespectful workers and there is everything very expensive then another store .the charges me for snow shovel 10$ more than another store.
The guys at checkout were very nice and attentive. They had, unsurprisingly, sold out of what I needed, but NBD. I'll just go someplace else for that stuff. Parking is a bit wonky, but I was able to find a suitable space. I'll go back after the big snowstorm hits and see how they are when not swamped.
