This is a real, honest-to-God hardware store where the employees know what they are doing and they know all about the products they sell. Don't go to Lowe's if you want to learn about refinishing an antique wood table or what you should treat your new deck with; Martin's will enlighten you. I may be a little biased because I have been going to Martin's since before I was born, 71 years ago! My 93 year old mother is still a loyal Martin Hardware customer.

Best hardware store in town by far. - Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They remember their regulars and you can tell they truly appreciate your business. - Every square inch of the space is packed with every kind of tool, part or product you need. It may not be as big as the box stores, but they have a lot more than you might think for a local shop. - They also cut keys. Everything you’ll need for some basic home repairs. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and they actually know where things are! Unlike Lowe’s where half the staff is non existent or they look at a phone to tell you where to go. I always love going to Martin Hardware for my basic items. Might be a little more expensive than Lowe’s but the staff and it being close to home are worth every penny.
