I wish I could go back in time and tell my Dad he picked the wrong oncologist/team. When you have cancer, we all know time is of the essence. This doctor and his team didn't move fast enough. This doctor dragged his feet - he obviously has too many patients to care. Appt times in the office were ridiculous. My Dad was treated by him for colon cancer a few years back with chemotherapy. My 84 year old mother had surgery at Hackensack to remove a tumor on her lung on June 3rd. Right after the surgery, her health went downhill. Her cancer was aggressive and spread to different places in and around her lung, as well as her chest cavity. Guttierez was the Oncologist we were directed to from the surgeon. On the first visit, he handed me my mom's pathology report, but did not discuss it with us. In April of 2017 my husband was faced with an incurable and inoperable Stage-4 Advanced Cancer. He lost 35 pounds. He was in trouble and had a short life span of six-months if treatment wasn't administered.
