Martin Greer "diagnosed" me after a brief interview and said that I could NOT be autistic because I am so verbal and "they (indicating he believes autism is a monolith, not a spectrum) so obvs had not opened a DSM in 15 years.Then he said my anxiety about the election (this was March 2025) should be canceled because with all the guardrails in place, the pedo Prez could not cause harm. This response told me Marin Greer can see only through the lense of Old White Professional Man. Worse than worthless.
My appointment with Dr. Greer was a smashing success. Through his in-depth testing prior to and during our appointment, he helped me make sense of my life and why I have a tendency to do the things I do. We also had a fruitful discussion regarding strategies I can implement in order to help me better align my lifestyle with my deepest values, which, for me, are centered around following the Lord Jesus Christ.
