I rarely write bad reviews, but I feel it's important to warn others. Received a $3,200 bill for zero services completed. Lots of long gaps in communication on his end. He'd ask for something, I'd either immediately provide it or it had already been provided - 3 times. I think he's just too busy for me and my small business. Nice guy, possible good intentions, but crazy invoice. More than double I've ever paid any other CPA. Now, he's holding my revised 941's hostage until I pay the entire balance. Worked with Martin for a period of months for our small business. Martin failed to attend two scheduled meetings, was late providing estimates, lacked knowledge in the areas of business in he was providing us “expertise” in and unwilling to provide detailed invoices for his work. Over a period of months we requested detailed invoices which he ignored yet continued to send us requests to pay but would not send requested detailed invoices connecting the work he completed to the costs of services. Martin's Communication was excellent, until he received payment. Martin filed my sales taxes, for the wrong calendar year. I was held liable for the additional penalties incurred by his mistake. I asked Martin to set up a new LLC for me and he referred me to a lawyer. Business is exciting and I need a CPA that can do the leg work for me, so I can make more money.
