Absolutely love this doctor. Sorry he is retiring. He is the best- calm in crisis, follows-up quickly when concerned, ordered more testing when needed and is kind, smart and soft spoken placing patients at ease. My daughter Melissa Carey was in The ER at Holy Redeemer with chicken stuck in her esophagus. He was able to dissect and bring this situation to an end. However, he saw rings around her esophagus ordering more tests. She and I both agree Dr. Chatzinoff is a wonderful gastroenterologist as well as a human being.
My son was so sick and he was missdiagnosed but this doctor. I went to my sons appointment and tried asking questions. He rose his hand to my face and would not let me speak! I walked out of his office and found another doctor who saw him the next day. He immediatly admited my son to the hospital. If he had treated my son the right way he might not have gotton this bad. I had to beg to get an appointment before colonoscopy for my husband and I. I have a rare muscle disease. The doctor was dismissive and mean. He didn't answer questions. Rude human. Horrible.
Worst Doctor I have ever met in my entire life.
My daughter was seen by Dr Martin Chatzinoff, late Thursday afternoon, for throwing up, diarrhea and horrible pain in her stomach for over 2 days. He sent her home with meds for IBS and ordered a litany if blood tests. She was rushed to the hospital 10 hours later for an emergency appendectomy. Her symptoms were classic symptoms for appendicitis. When Chatzinoff examined her and touched the bottom of her stomach- my daughter said it hurt so much she almost cried.
