For a long time I had issues with my Audi A6 2.0 TDI losing power and throwing error code P0299 (underboost). Trying to solve it, I took the car to various garages. Based only on that error code, I commissioned replacement of the turbocharger, and I even arranged for my injectors to be professionally bench-tested at a specialist workshop – they confirmed all injectors were over-fuelling, so I had them replaced as well.
