We’ve been with Martial Arts Nation since 2022. Literally one of the best things I’ve done for my daughters and myself. They not only teach BJJ and self defense, but the discipline, respect, and anti-bullying. So many lessons my daughters learned and continue to learn. Definitely a place to help kids grow strong, independent, confident, and resilient, and for adults as well.

Honestly, it's the best option in the Lake Nona area, but it could be much, much better! They spend 10 minutes just sitting and talking, then running or doing some exercises. Then, they sit again for 5 minutes for an explanation, followed by 10 minutes of moves. They sit again for 5 minutes, do 10 minutes of moves, play some games, and the class ends. They learn only 1 or 2 moves in the entire class! The membership is not cheap for this! Sometimes it's only games or just exercise, not actual moves or a real Jiu-Jitsu class. ... read more

O pessoal é muito amigável e acolhedor, o clima é de comunidade mesmo, com um ambiente familiar que acolhe bem crianças, jovens e adultos. Os mestres são experientes e dedicados ao desenvolvimento dos alunos em técnica, disciplina, confiança e evolução pessoal. Se você estiver pensando em começar jiu-jitsu, aqui é um ótimo lugar para treinar, com estrutura para aulas de qualidade e um ambiente que incentiva o crescimento de todos. Recomendo! Vale a pena fazer uma aula experimental e conferir!

Update: I finally had the opportunity to sit in on one of the kids classes and WOW! It was not only very well managed despite its size, with sufficient helpers moving around and assisting, but the class also included behavior values, ( like Focus), and very young children were able to sit, focus, engage, and participate in the concept and how it applies to not only their time on the mats, but their lives at home as well!
