It's really a shame - and I have seen this across many industries. The *people* at this hospital are amazing - nurses, doctors, everyone. But the systems (aka management) put in place are horrific. Want to see your doctor? Good luck. Need a prescription refilled? Good luck. I recently visited MV Hospital after experiencing sudden chest pain, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff moved quickly, treated me with care, and kept me informed every step of the way. I have been to this hospital many times in 40 years, and always received great care: torn muscles, ruptured Achilles tendon, appendectomy, tick bites, covid. Many people on this site complained of long waits in the ER, and I'm sure they are telling the truth. That's what happens in ERs; its called triage. When you're in an ER and its not an emergency, you wait. Today I walked in w flu-like symptoms and the ER was empty.
