My husband was one of the earlier residents at Martha’s House. He was very well taken care of in a homelike setting by the owners, John and Altoniece. I was able to visit him at any time, and sometimes even invited to dinner. The house was always clean and neat. The meals were always plentiful and amazing.. All holidays and birthdays were celebrated with a warm home like atmosphere. I highly recommend Martha’s House.

10 stars. I visited many facilities before choosing Martha’s House for Bonnie. People with dementia need repetition and caregivers that they know. I facility with different staff every day adds to the confusion. I knew that she would be lost in a large facility where you can’t find your way back to your own room. She needs to be monitored all of the time just to keep her from putting the remote in a drawer where it will not be found. She has poor balance and can’t be left alone to walk around the facility. We were blessed to have my mom at Martha’s House! It is a very loving, caring, and kind atmosphere. The facility is an extremely clean home for 6 residents, and it is very well managed! They offer home cooked meals and snacks. All holidays and birthdays are celebrated. Each resident is given so much love and gentle care. They are made to feel so special. Activities are offered for the residents. I highly recommend Martha’s House for your loved one. It is the next best thing to being home.

I feel so lucky to have found this place for my husband. I cannot think of any other place where he would get the individualized care that he receives at Martha’s House.
