We have always enjoyed this restaurant so much. But this past Saturday, the staff and especially the manager Jessica went above and beyond for my parents 49th anniversary. I cannot say enough great things about Martellls. Never had a bad meal, drink, or most importantly service. Wonderful experience and establishment. Thank you.
The food was excellent.
We made reservations for 7:00, arrived early and we were seated pretty quickly. That right there was the extent of the service that we received. Sat there for over 20 minutes and nobody acknowledged us. We didn’t get water or anything, the place wasn’t very busy either. We came for our daughter’s 17 th birthday. A real disappointment. I should have been tipped off by the separation and terrible condition of the flooring walking towards the dining area. Room was strangely hot, but waiter was pleasant. Food was mediocre at best. Edible, but honestly worse than Olive Garden. Shrimp app was overcooked, soup was bland, Caesar salad was ok, Manhattan used the smallest ice cubes I've ever seen in a $13 drink so it was diluted almost instantly. Pasta was ok. Very nice setting with a wide variety of food to keep everyone happy with their choices. Great wine list, as well!
