Dr. Marson left my mother with so much extra skin on her back that she looked like she had a breast on her back. He removed the breast because of breast cancer. I could have stitched her up better than he did and I have no experience. It took over a year for her healthy skin to grow back together because of his incompetence. She had to wear a drain tube for a year also. She passed shortly after the bad experience.
I choose Dr. Merritt for my own care as well as referring my own patients to her. She is kind, caring and a skilled surgeon.

Dr. Merritt is an extremely caring and competent breast care surgeon. From my first office visit for a suspicious mammogram, to biopsies, to excision surgery, then ultimately a bilateral mastectomy Dr. Merritt and her staff were caring and supportive. They were always just a phone call away ready to answer any questions throughout my various procedures. Every procedure was timely, and handled professionally. I had quick healing with all procedures. I highly recommend this breast care surgeon.
Dr. Merritt explains every aspect of your visit, making you feel a level of comfort I have never ecperienced when faced with an unknown health issue. She is an exceptional physician!!

Dr. Marson was kind, gentle, and empathetic-a quality I don't always see. I was having emergency surgery which can be extra scary. He took the time to reassure both me and my family.....Excellent bedside manner:) Will happily choose him if I or a family member require surgery again;)
I had a core needle breast biopsy on 11/15/2016. I was very scared after reading horror stories online. It was for me, painless. The needle for numbing I hardly felt at all, and there was no burning from the numbing agent. Dr. Merritt walked me thru every step of the procedure as she was taking the biopsy. I just wanted to take the time to thank Dr. Merritt, she was FANTASTIC. She is a very compassionate person and very skilled at what she does. Her staff was AMAZING as well. Thank you Dr. M.
