The customer service is the worst of any utility company that I have had the pleasure of working with. They claim to mail statements but yet they were never received and insist that I use the website which is not user-friendly. It does not give an option to reset the userid and the chat feature does not respond despite it stating the operator is available. This is the month of September yet the website states there is not a bill insert for June. A legitimate company website should be current. However, this company can not even send a final account statement in a timely fashion and instead adds penalty charges to customers. Bill Inserts Click below to view the current bill insert. The 3rd party payment processing company that Marshfield Utilities Company uses is abysmal. Foreign phone operators to be trusted with bank or credit card information.no. Give me a break. Why is there a need to set up 2 accounts to pay one ****? While expected to cough up a bunch of personal information?? (Sarcasm). The name of this 3rd party is PSN.and they absolutely ****. Im not taking a survey on whether I use smokeless tobacco to pay a stupid utilities ****. 2 hrs of communication with this 3rd party and still no resolu... read more

Absolutely horrible customer service and customer policies. I have worked with many utility companies over the last few years as I have moved often and I have never once had trouble ending my service and switching billing over to the new occupant until dealing with Marshfield Utilities. I have reached out to them several times to try to resolve a bill they erroneously have in my name and they will not help at all.
