Previously I went to their location in Neillsville for severe chest pain some years ago. They couldn't get an EKG reading and stuck me NINE times to try and get an IV started. I left at 3AM with a muscle relaxer and a $3000 bill. This time I went to the location in Marshfield since I figured it was attached to a hospital I'd stand a better chance of being helped. On July 23rd, 2025 in horrendous weather, so no helicopters could bring me as ordered 2 X. it was an Ambulance for life from Woodruff to Marshfield E.R. (I was dying) in torrential rain giving ETA's to E.R. and where the bad storms were skirting. I coud see husband out back of ambulance but lost him riding the bumper in 2 to 3" hr downpour in Stratford but ETA 9 mins. After having a terrible experience in Wausau at Aspirus ER, they sent my daughter to marshfield to receive care. The marshfield staff were incredibly attentive to her, and made her feel calm. Everyone who helped my daughter was so kind and I am grateful for their help and ability to make my daughter feel comfortable, even during a scary time. This place really cares about children, thank you! Special shout-out to nurse Meg, she is amazing!
