Awful place terrible medical staff very unprofessional more interested in talking and joking with each then working on anything. Place is rated 2 stars for a reason it's one of the worst medical centers in the country with bottom of the barrel staff and doctors no decent medical staff would work here and I get it.
I went in to the ER mid December with a "significant" UTI (their words). They had to give me both a shot and tablets at the same time. I did get in to a room quickly, and I saw a nurse immediately. However, although all the ER was empty except for me, we waited an hour for my shot. We could hear the nurse giggling, talking, swearing, etc. next to my room. When she finally came in (an hour after the doc said I needed the shot and tabs), she immediately said, "I was just getting the shot ready". We didn't ask, but she felt the... read more
My family and I have always had the best ER experiences possible in the Ladysmith ER. The wait times are short, the staff is efficient, the Drs. are knowledgeable. I am so grateful they are there!
Horrific to say the least. Went in with pain, neck swollen to the size of my head. No xrays..no labs. Said neck strain . Sent home. Weekend passed as things got progressively worse. Saw my primary on .Monday.. have a raging infection.. that could have killed me if left untreated.. .
