Plants high - Mulch negotiators Good selection of plants and they do look healthy, but I found their prices to be on the very high side. Also have bought truckloads of mulch from them. We have a smaller truck and were not sure if a scoop would fit in it safely. Unlike other nurseries in the area, they were willing to sell a half scoop at half price. Another nursery in Valley Park will only sell a whole scoop and if you only want a half or can only fit half, they won't negotiate. Therefore, I will get my mulch at Marshall's.
Everything you need at great prices This is a wonderful place to go and get all your flowers. Not only do they sell everything you can imagine but the prices you cant beat. They sell your spring and summer flowers plus potted plants every kind you are looking for they have and the sales people are always very friendly
Nothing but the best! For the last few years I have used several nurseries for my plants and other garden amenities. However, I keep finding myself gravitating back to Marshall's because of their knowledgeable, helpful staff and their assistance with choosing appropriate plants and offering to special order things I needed or wanted. Bait and Switch They tell you one thing and then do another. It is a beautiful nursery but they don't care if you come back once they make a sale. I spent over $1,000 there and they told me the plants were guaranteed for one year. Then when four of them died the story changed - it was only 90 days. These were purchased in October of last year and planted by their employee. If you like to gamble, go to Marshall's, otherwise shop somewhere else.
Beautiful Selection !!!!! I have always had great experiences when I have shopped there. Their selection is always beautiful and healthy. The service is great and I would highly recommend shopping there!!!!
Buyer Beware We spent $15,000 for landscaping services from Marshall's, and approximately 70% of the items died within a few weeks. They said we would have to wait until spring to replace anything. They have a policy about replacing the items, but at a cost. This seems fair at first. But when the majority of the items die, the replacement cost can be very high, especially when they add labor charges. Not the worst, but not the best either Somewhat of a good selection. Prices are a little on the higher side. Somewhat difficult to get someone to help you but when you find them they go beyond your expectations as far as loading things into your car and securing them. Not that great of a return policy. You have to pay half price again to get an exchange. Over all had an ok experience
Beautiful plants This is the place to go if you want beautiful, healthy plants with a wide variety to choose from. Everything we have purchased there has thrived when brought home. They seem to be a little short on staff--sometimes taking quite a while to get help, but once you get help they know a lot about what they are talking about and offer lots of good advice. I highly recommend.
Really nice garden center This is a great place in the Fenton area of St. Louis to get your plants and gardening tools and accessories. They have a wide selection of plants and they all seem to be well taken care of and in great condition. The plants I bought here were very hardy. The staff is friendly and helpful and can answer almost any gardening related question that you may have. Parking is easy and the visit overall is a pleasant one.
