I worked with Dr. Marshall Robinson twice a week for years. He's clever and well trained in manualized, evidence based modalities like CBT. However, he struggles with establishing safety and containment for women's trauma issues, and lacks a fundamental sensitivity and capacity to imagine his way into the shoes of someone other. Nice guy, cares, not prepared for attachment trauma, childhood violence, and other issues of deep concern for women at times.
