I went in today for a checkup due to some abnormal symptoms I've been experiencing. I have a ton of trauma and have already made and canceled this appointment numerous times because I simply couldn't bring myself to go through with it. In the past, other providers have treated me like a burden because of my fear and anxiety. I am so frustrated with this place. It’s disappointing because every time I hope they’ll do better, they end up disappointing me even more. The worst part is that I take my time to message and ask for clarity, yet I still feel it’s a waste of my energy. I’m in my last trimester and have no option but to see this through, but the OB office has been incredibly disappointing.
Marshall Birthing center is exceptional. I had a bad experience 2 years ago with a few staff members and was very unhappy with the professionalism. I’ve had 3 of my 4 children here and this last pregnancy I revived incredible OB care. I have nothing but great things to say about everyone in Labor and delivery, the OBGYN office for my monthly appointments.. everyone is so bubbly and welcoming and it’s honestly a fresh breath of air. We had the absolute worst experience possible here. They treated us like idiots, rushed through our ultrasound appointment, and skipped important history questions, instead making incorrect assumptions which we later had to correct. They then scheduled us at a separate clinic in Sacramento, which they made no mention of, and listed us as a high-risk pregnancy, after Dr. Kelly verbally told us we had a low-risk pregnancy in the appointment. Called me to schedule an appointment to go over test results that could have been gone over by phone, and then talked to another patient my entire appointment time so 15 minutes after my appointment was supposed to be over I went up to the front desk and asked them if they could call me to discuss results as I didn’t plan to be in there for an indefinite amount of time after my appointment, the front desk was completely unhelpful and just kept pretending to go into the back to “talk to the dr” and coming back saying they don... read more
