Dr. Sharma is unparalleled as a cardiac surgeon. He saved my life. My ascending aorta was falling apart, This caused the displacement of my mitral valve. After thirteen hour surgery, he pulled me through. I should not have survived. Dr. Sharma and his team brought me back from death. Complications related to my aorta required me to have a second (this time elective surgery) trip to the table. It, too was a difficult one. I have enormous trepidations about going to this practice after the disgustingly impersonal manner in which I was treated on the phone. I called only because they left a recorded message instructing me to call to determine if they had received paper work and lab results from a referring physician. And actually, after receiving a ream of paper work with instructions highlighted, I called my physician to make certain this was done, and was told that normally a physician s office will request these results, not the patient. Dr. LaRocque really knows his stuff. I had been having trouble with my thyroid and diabetes. He came in on my treatment and within a few days had everything headed in the right direction. I started feeling better my sugar began to stay within range. I am very happy to have him on my healthcare team.
I wish it were possible to give less than one star. This practice is one of the worst I have ever seen. From scheduling through nurses through providers, it was a huge mass of errors. After two visits I am running, not walking, away from this practice. One appointment was over 3 hours long... but not 3 hours of care, no, maybe 30 minutes total with nurses and providers, the rest was waiting. I WOULD NOT GO TO HIM IF YOU PAID ME. HIS TREATMENT OF MY MOM CONSISTED OF CHECKING TSH AND THEN TELLING HER IT WAS ALL IN HER MIND WHEN FOR YEARS SHE SUFFERED SYMPTOMS OF HYPERTHYROIDISM. OUR FAMILY HAS A RARE THYROID DISORDER WHERE YOU MUST CHECK THE FULL THRYOID PANAL IN ORDER TO CATCH. IT THROWS OFF THE OTHER GLANDS IF LEFT UNTREATED. MOM DIED YOUNG AS A RESULT OF IT BEING LEFT UNTREATED. I HAVE THE SAME DISEASE AND WOULD RATHER GO TO MY PRIMARY CARE WHERE AT LEAST THEY WOULD LOOK INTO IT!
Worst bedside manor ever experienced. He failed to answer any questions, or suggest treatment options. Worst Dr. experience I've ever had. Would not recommend.
Do not see this doctor. My brother had stomach cancer and for over a year, this doctor kept on telling my brother that he is ok. Finally my brother went to see American doctor and the cancer has grew so large. This doctor is really terrible and inexperience.
Dr. Karen is a terrific dentist. Painless and sweet. Very talented. Made me a beautiful crown! Had an old, prehistoric dentist since I was a little kid ... he retired and I "discovered" Dr. Karen. Never knew going to a dentist could be the highlight of my day, until I met her. State-of-the-art practice and nice staff!
