We stayed at Shadyside cabin several days in April 2025. The cabin and property were just as nice as the pictures show them to be. There were no unpleasant surprises. Everything worked great. The hosts did an excellent job. Logan is a bit of a drive, but the cabin is near to the state park and hiking trails. We brought our dog and she had a great trip also! I recommend this property to others looking for a Hocking Hills vacation.

This is an update. We stayed again the first weekend in May and I thought on and off about leaving a review but finally decided to because honestly I'm tired of lower standards and higher prices. Upon arriving for our stay the hot tub was full of debris and was actually almost below the jets with water. My husband spent an hour cleaning it and adding some water so it was safe to operate. Unfortunately I ended up with a very nasty infection and will never trust this company with something like this again. The grill was malfun... read more
