Mixed feelings on this brand. I am happy enough with my camper and the service from the Brisbane branch. It is unfortunate the manner in which Mars deals with any mention of its products on social media. Any post asking for help on their Facebook group highlighting an issue or problem is deleted. Any repeated posting by owners results in them being banned from the only group of people that can actually help them trouble shoot their issues. Giving two stars as the Rocklea branch closed down, so nowhere to give feedback regarding our issues. We had a terrible experience with that branch and even though we’ve had an apology from head office we’ve since realised we were also charged $1200 for an Evacool 95k fridge that was supposed to come inside the caravan when purchased. They are not trust worthy as a whole. Blocked me from the official mars enthusiasts page on Facebook because I asked if anyone had paid for the internal fridge or if it came with the caravan. We were on our first trip from Newcastle to Yeppoon and had experienced several issues with the van . Called the Brisbane office and spoke to Jessica requesting assistance with these issues. Jessica went out of her way to arrange assistance from production manager Ashley. On arrival we were met by Ashley and two of his staff who were so willingly to help with the immediate issues and on the road service advice . Extremerly upset with purchasing a caravan through Mars. After sale service is appalling. Don't stock common spare parts and takes weeks to arrive if order through them. Give the wrong advice when asked about certain parts and you end up buying the wrong size due to their lack of knowledge. Alot of stuff in and on the van is just cheap Chinese cr*p and has needed to be replaced or upgraded after failing a few months later. Unhelpful when asked where to buy things you need asap. Would not recommend
We bought our van {13 Lowdown } 1 year ago. And it is the best caravan we have ever owned {7 altogether}. The staff at Brisbane went out of their way to get it ready, and to help us in every way they could. We finally have a van that is exactly what we wanted, and we love it. It is easy to tow, easy to setup and pack away.
