Very thorough! Takes his time to do a good job.
I have seen Dr Shao a few times, usually when my regular GP is not available. Dr Shao is friendly, polite, respectful and empathetic towards my health issues. He does not interfer or get involved with my medical history with my regular GP. I respect his choice because it is safe and wise. He is thorough with the consultation and listens to what I have to say - very important to me. The medical practice is a lovely and comfortable environment. Like others have said, Dr Shao isn’t going to give you a thorough consultation and will be quick to dismiss your condition. I went in after 3 weeks with RSV and a cold that my body couldn’t fight. My sinuses and throat were infected, and instead of antibiotics, he prescribed me a nose spray commonly used for hayfever, so my condition deteriorated. Thanks Dr Shao!

I had a very good time, first time meeting Dr James Shao and his receptionist Tanya. Very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, professional, good listener, helpful, caring, empathy, etc.. Bulk billing. I was seeing the doctor for over 20 minutes, getting to know me (new patient). The doctor gave me good advice and suggestions. Because I am going overseas for travels, Doctor reminded me about updating my vaccinations, offered free blood test/ urine test bulk billing.
