I'm not sure how this place has such high reviews. I would give it a no star rating if possible. We had my mom there to recover from extensive spinal surgery in February of 2019. The 1st night the nurse claimed no pain meds were available, which was false. Then, the next several days were made up of errors on the staff's part. They gave her the wrong meds multiple times and she became nonresponsive. One of the biggest manipulators and mismanaged places available to you in the area. Favorites, are played constantly. The kitchen is way, way below health standards. No central air, constant staff shortages, underpaid staff. Undereducated Administrator who takes off every Monday. Anyone who complains is told they are wrong. Extreme favoritism. Money and the Administrators needs come first everything else is secondary. If Oregon had even half the rigorous health inspection that the Eastern US has this place would be closed.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. They nickel & dime these elderly people over every little thing. $9,610.00 per month & then charge for shampoo??? My mother was there for 20 days & took her own toiletries & medicine when she went in. They opted to not use her stuff & then charged her for using their items. This is not fair to anyone on a limited income. The food was so awful that our family had to bring food from home for her to eat. My father aged 97 and recovering from a fall and chest congestion stayed for about 4 weeks. From my conversations with him and working with the rehab staff and the business staff I was very pleased with his experience. He made excellent progress during his stay and I was really happy with my interactions with everyone. I would even give the food high marks after having lunch with my father one day. The food was a bit bland for my taste but seemed spot on for dad and his digestive system. Thanks for your care of my father....
