The staff at the Marquette House helped my family out tremendously during a difficult time. We can’t thank them enough for providing such great care so close to home.

It appears this facility is under new management. People seem happier, the building is clean and smells good. It looks like they have plans to make some long overdue improvements. They are off to a good start, I look forward to seeing it when its complete. Maybe this will be a new beginning for the Marquette House. Based on the previous reviews, it sounds like it needed one.

On our visit the staff was friendly and attentive. The director showed us through the different rooms available. The building is set back into the woods and the grounds were nice to walk. Had a pleasant experience.

When my grandfather was 93 years old, him and I visited a lot of assisted living centers in the area. Marquette House was the place he felt the most comfortable. Compared to other places, they are the only state-licensed facility in town, the rent is all-inclusive, and above all else, the staff and management are very attentive.

If you're looking for a place to put a loved one: Don't put yourself through dealing with the management or staff at the Marquette House they WILL make it as difficult as possible! The Director, head nurse, and staff are unqualified and simply don't care that they don't know what they're doing. The Director accepted my father as a resident and I quickly found out the staff was not trained in ostomy care and did not have the training to provide adequate care for my father in general.
