I would like to complement the staff in A&E who were working . Early morning Aug. 30th. The computers were down the whole time I was there, they made the best of the situation! I have worked in the Health industry all my working life and realise how difficult it can be! I was fortunate to be treated by a DR. Bridgeford who was extremly helpful and performed above and beyond. Thanking You Grant McConnell
Aweful rude staff, dismissive of issues lie about what's being done, refuse to communicate, don't listen to patients or their family, prescribed the wrong medication to patients with allergies! 0/10 would sooner die than go to maroondah hospital emergency
Confused and needy
The hospital acted negligently by failing to show proper care and sensitivity when delivering a terminal diagnosis to a vulnerable patient who was alone. Absolutely disgusting, to tell someone who's in hospital by themselves, to let them know they only have 6 months to live. Absolutely disgusting, shouldn't they be having this conversation with someone while family or their next of kin is in the hospital with them. Not them laying there in the hospital bed by themselves.
