Rented a home managed by Avari one street away from us to host a family weekend. Avari’s communication is fine - all automatic, but prompt. Day of check in we even receive a note saying we can check in early. Except surprise! There is another group who has been staying at the home for 2 days already. They had been trying to contact Avari to no response and when I got In touch through their Airbnb message it was a total cluster - they had no idea people were staying there. We listed our property with Vacasa for less than a year as we did not have a good experience. People who onboarded us were fine, but it was downhill once we were under contract with them. Here are issues we faced: - directions to our place and the listing pictures showed another unit in our complex. Several guests had trouble finding our place. The view from this place is truly amazing, but unfortunately, the property doesn’t live up to the price. We encountered several cleanliness issues—bugs throughout the space, spider webs, hair on the floor, flooded sink, some lights were not working, and even signs of bed bugs. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend it unless cleanliness isn’t a concern for you.
