A local who has read many good reviews about the bistro/food at the Marlin. My first and probably last visit; I had the creamy chicken risotto topped with prawns. It was soooo heavily salted it wasn't enjoyable. I had 3 prawns with tails on and 2 tails without any prawn attached which was odd. Disappointing.
Great pub. Bit outdated but great food. Awsome location and very welcoming.
I am a local and having heard many recent rave reports from friends who have visited the Marlin for a meal I thought we (my wife and I) need to give it a try. It was amazing! We went for lunch and chose a) Creamy Chicken topped with prawns & b) Moroccan Lamb Shank. It wasn't too busy and to our surprise a nice atmosphere.
